The Harry Gwala Municipality’s Executive Committee held a meeting today, 16 January 2024, which was chaired by The Deputy Mayor Councillor T.N Jojozi in the absence of the District Mayor Councillor Z.D Nxumalo. On communications statement by the chairperson, Cllr. Jojozi, commended the Harry Gwala Development Agency (HGDA), which hosted a successful strategic planning session the previous week, planning for service delivery project for the year 2024.
The Municipal Manager Mr. G.M Sineke expressed gratitude for the work done the previous year and promises 2024 to be even better in terms of delivering service to the public. Exco Member Councillor S.D Bekwa, stated that the municipality has plans in place for service delivery and said what is needed now is implementation and commitment from employees. Different reports, responding to service delivery were tabled and noted at the Executive Committee Meeting and some to be tabled for approval at the next Full Council Meeting scheduled to take place at end of January 2024.
